  • Keep the applicant tracking system updated and assist in talent pipeline development alongside hiring managers.
  • Coordinate onboarding procedures such as I-9 verification, benefits setup, system access, and orientation scheduling; act as the key contact for new employees during their initial month.
  • Handle offboarding activities including completion of separation documentation, deactivation of system access, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Maintain precise employee records within the HR information system and administer employment status changes like promotions, transfers, salary revisions, and leave management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws in North America and prepare routine reports on headcount, turnover, and open roles.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and HR procedures, referring complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement events and culture initiatives aligned with the brand’s creative identity, including conducting Voice of the Employee surveys and sharing follow-up communications.
  • Provide support with benefits enrollment and updates, collaborate with payroll on timely processing of changes, and contribute to open enrollment activities.
  • Work alongside retail store managers on workforce planning, scheduling, and HR compliance across all North American locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Between one and three years of experience in HR, preferably in retail, fashion, or consumer-focused companies.

  • Understanding of US employment law; knowledge of Canadian standards is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Trusted to manage confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.
  • Strong enthusiasm for streetwear, fashion, or youth culture is highly valued.
