Role overview
This position serves as the primary HR representative for Unilever in KSA, acting as a key point of contact both inside the organization and with external stakeholders. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with peer companies, government bodies, and internal business leaders while helping shape people practices across the country.
Key accountabilities
- Act as the main HR interface for Unilever in Saudi Arabia, representing the company internally and externally.
- Partner closely with the Head of CBD and Head of Finance to improve the effectiveness of joint venture operations, covering governance, workforce planning, reward practices, culture, and learning initiatives.
- Apply strong expertise in Saudi labour law to ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant, fair, and protective of Unilever’s reputation and interests.
- Support the Head of HR Arabia in building and consistently rolling out country-specific policies and procedures related to employment, benefits, ED&I, university partnerships, employee relations, and industrial relations.
- Design and drive employer branding initiatives in the KSA market to help attract and retain top talent.
- Contribute to HR programmes that advance the Unilever People Plan within the teams you support, including the CBD and Finance functions.
- Serve on the boards of the relevant Unilever legal entities when required and carry out associated fiduciary responsibilities, with particular attention to business integrity, safety, health and environment, and workplace matters.
- Lead HR support during emergency or crisis situations in Saudi Arabia, working in coordination with business leaders.
- Manage, coach, and support the HR team based in KSA, including colleagues located in the factory.
