Role Summary

The Houseperson / Runner supports supervisors and housekeeping staff by helping keep units, supply areas, and guest-facing spaces organized, clean, and ready on schedule. This role is part of a hospitality team that values service, speed, and attention to detail.

Key Duties

  • Support supervisors and housekeepers in meeting quality and turnaround targets.
  • Keep storage closets neat, stocked, and well organized.
  • Strip units of used linens when assigned.
  • Remove trash and soiled linens from units.
  • Prepare linen and supply bags and deliver them to the appropriate units.
  • Inspect assigned buildings or floors to confirm they are clear of linens, trash, and equipment.
  • Report maintenance concerns following company procedures.
  • Pass along lost-and-found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Move furniture as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe work environment in each location and office.
  • Carry out other site operations tasks assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Work with urgency so guest units are ready on time.
  • Arrive promptly for all shifts, tasks, and appointments.
  • Use supplies and equipment responsibly and efficiently.
  • Assist with linen and supply counts as directed.
  • Help resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and customers.
  • Support resort guests and owners when needed.
  • Deliver items to guests as directed.
  • Stay familiar with the resort and its layout.

Physical and Work Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, with or without accommodation.

  • Ability to make decisions, plan, and schedule work is important.
