Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Nagpur is responsible for managing housekeeping stores and keeping inventory operations running without disruption. The person in this role will monitor stock for cleaning and housekeeping supplies, maintain precise documentation, coordinate purchases with vendors, and make sure items are issued properly to housekeeping teams. The role also involves keeping the storage area organized, supporting daily requirement planning with housekeeping leads, tracking usage patterns, and helping maintain cleanliness and safety in the store. Regular interaction with internal teams is required to ensure operational needs are met quickly and any issues are resolved in time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and control inventory for housekeeping materials and cleaning supplies.
  • Keep stock records accurate and update documentation regularly.
  • Coordinate with vendors to arrange timely replenishment and procurement.
  • Manage the storage area so that items are arranged, accessible, and properly monitored.
  • Issue supplies to housekeeping staff in the correct quantities and maintain accountability.
  • Support housekeeping supervisors in estimating daily material needs.
  • Monitor consumption to reduce shortages, wastage, and discrepancies.
  • Apply basic loss-prevention practices to protect stock from pilferage or misuse.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the store area.
  • Communicate with internal teams to address operational requirements and resolve concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have strong customer service orientation, good communication ability, and practical experience in store or inventory handling. Familiarity with housekeeping operations, hospitality, or facility management is preferred. The job also calls for attention to detail, organizational strength, and basic computer knowledge for spreadsheets or inventory tools. A minimum of a high school diploma is required, while a diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management, or a related discipline will be considered an advantage.
