Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site housekeeping position based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The role focuses on keeping guest rooms, dorms, bathrooms, and shared spaces clean, organized, and aligned with hostel standards.

Key Duties

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, dormitories, bathrooms, and common areas to a consistent standard.
• Make beds, replace linens, sanitize surfaces, remove waste, and restock essentials such as toiletries and towels.
• Carry out routine laundry work, including washing, drying, folding, and arranging linens and guest items.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
• Help prepare rooms and shared spaces for guest check-in and check-out.
• Respond politely to simple guest questions and guide them to the reception desk when needed.
• Support the onboarding of new housekeeping team members by demonstrating cleaning methods, safety practices, and hostel procedures.

Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with room cleaning, bathroom sanitation, bed making, and upkeep of shared spaces. Basic laundry handling skills are important, along with careful attention to fabric care. Good communication and customer service skills are needed for courteous guest interaction and smooth teamwork. The role also requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage time well, and comfort with following checklists and standard operating procedures. Candidates should be physically able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and move cleaning supplies and equipment safely. Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or hostel operations is helpful but not essential. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays may be required depending on operational needs.
