Role Overview
Aramark Remote Workplace Services, working with Moose Cree group of companies, is recruiting a Housekeeping Lead for a remote lodge near Cochrane, Ontario. This position is focused on planning and delivering housekeeping services that align with client needs, while maintaining clean and well-kept assigned areas to a standard that supports customer satisfaction. The role may also involve overseeing, coordinating, or delegating tasks within the housekeeping team.
Working Arrangement
This is a remote lodge role with a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotation. Transportation is provided from Timmins or Cochrane, Ontario, and a travel allowance may be available for some locations farther away.
Key Duties
- Plan the daily workload for the custodial team and allocate tasks accordingly.
- Monitor team output and confirm that completed work meets required quality standards.
- Work with department leaders to resolve performance issues within the custodial group.
- Help onboard and retrain employees when needed.
- Clean assigned spaces in line with Aramark and client expectations.
- Keep work areas orderly, tidy, and free from clutter to reduce safety risks.
- Maintain housekeeping tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Handle trash storage and disposal procedures and move waste to designated locations.
- Submit maintenance concerns through work order requests to the right personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures and applicable accredited-agency and Aramark requirements.
- Protect company property and facility security by locking or unlocking doors and equipment storage areas as needed.
Requirements
Candidates should have prior experience in remote or commercial operations. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, along with custodial experience. The ideal applicant can work on their own with minimal supervision and follows basic safety practices. Applicants must attach a resume, as submissions without one will not be reviewed.
Physical Demands
This job can involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, long periods of walking, and extended standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may also be required.
