The role is based in a 70-bed care home and hospital, and it offers a chance to contribute to a caring residential environment with water views from the workplace.

About the organisation

Heritage Lifecare is among New Zealand’s largest and fastest-growing aged care providers, and it is also the country’s biggest dementia care provider. Its culture is described as supportive, nurturing, and community-focused, with a strong sense of whānau.

What the role involves

The position calls for someone who enjoys household-style work, brings a helpful attitude, and understands the importance of creating a comfortable setting for older adults.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, good time management, a friendly manner, and a customer-focused approach are all important. Experience working to a high quality standard is also valued.

What’s on offer

Heritage Lifecare offers the chance to work with one of New Zealand’s most progressive aged care organisations.
