Role overview
This part-time housekeeping role is based at Lime Tree Retirement Village in Rugby. The position focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, with an emphasis on high standards of service, attention to detail, and respectful support for older adults.
The working pattern is 20 hours per week, and flexibility is required between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
What you will do
- Carry out routine cleaning in residents’ apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Wash and care for residents’ bedding and clothing with a careful and considerate approach.
- Maintain a tidy and attractive appearance in shared spaces such as lounges, dining rooms, and corridors.
- Support light maintenance duties when needed.
- Help ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards remain consistently high across the village.
What you need
- Prior housekeeping experience, ideally in a residential or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a warm, compassionate manner.
- Understanding of the needs and preferences of older residents.
- Readiness to complete background checks and any required training.
