Work location and schedule

Compensation

The pay rate for this job is between $12.92 and $13.92 per hour.

Key duties

The housekeeper will handle light cleaning tasks to keep the facility clean and organized. Typical work includes bed making, linen replacement, room and hallway cleaning, and vacuuming. The role also calls for close attention to customer service and prompt response to cleaning issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, high-quality service with a strong focus on detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery when needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and other fixtures.
• Clean metal fittings and fixtures.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary way.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and replace linens as required.
• Arrange furniture and amenities according to the prescribed setup.
• Respond to guest questions and requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass.
• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a professional attitude.
• Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Some roles may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
