Role Overview

The housekeeper position at Keavan’s Port Hotel on Camden Street, Dublin 2, is focused on maintaining spotless standards across the hotel so guests enjoy a consistently clean and welcoming stay. The pay rate is €15.18 per hour.

Key Duties

• Keep all guest and hotel areas clean to a high standard.
• Greet guests courteously and interact with them in a polite, professional manner.
• Service bedrooms and other spaces according to standard operating procedures.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in line with the correct process.
• Track cleaning stock levels and inform the manager when supplies need replenishing.
• Store laundry properly and complete any required paperwork.
• Follow stock-control rules and help protect stock security at all times.
• Escalate security concerns, safety risks, accidents, incidents, and maintenance problems to the duty manager.
• Complete induction, role-based, and refresher training, while contributing to ongoing service improvements.
