Role overview

This position focuses on keeping the hotel looking polished, sanitary, and welcoming for guests. The role goes beyond making beds and cleaning rooms; it is about contributing to a memorable guest experience through attentive upkeep of guest rooms and shared areas.

What you will do

The guest environment specialist works across a broad range of housekeeping duties and is expected to move freely through the property to get tasks done efficiently. The job includes answering guest requests, restocking housekeeping carts, cleaning guest rooms, and maintaining public spaces, along with other similar cleaning and upkeep tasks that support a great stay.

Working expectations

Success in this role requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, upholding quality standards, and presenting yourself professionally through your uniform, appearance, and communication. The work is active and physically demanding, with long periods of standing, sitting, and walking, plus handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) without assistance. You may also be assigned other reasonable duties as needed.
