What the role is about
The main aim of the job is to deliver customer shopping in excellent condition while providing a high standard of service. You’ll be the visible face of the company on deliveries, so reliability, care, and good communication matter throughout the day.
Main duties
- Carry out safe loading of the delivery van, including manual handling and lifting where needed.
- Follow all safe driving practices at all times.
- Complete routine van checks before and during use.
- Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
- Deliver friendly and helpful customer service during each drop-off.
- Support store operations when asked to help.
- Work on your own with good time management and self-discipline.
- Be flexible with shifts; working hours may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
