About the role
The High-Volume Recruiter will support Jabil’s rapid expansion and production ramp-up efforts by driving large-scale hiring initiatives. This position owns a broad recruiting process that helps fill many roles quickly and effectively. The recruiter will work closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Workforce Planning to identify staffing requirements, build sourcing plans, and help ensure candidates move smoothly through hiring and onboarding. The role covers the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support, with a focus on preparing the workforce for new facility starts and manufacturing ramps. The position is based at the new Prince George, Virginia facility.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline. A background of 3 to 5 years in high-volume recruitment is preferred, especially in manufacturing or direct labor settings. Experience supporting workforce ramp-ups or large-scale hiring efforts is highly desirable. The role requires a strong grasp of high-volume hiring methods, applicant tracking systems such as Workday, and community-based sourcing approaches. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills are needed, along with the ability to handle several requisitions at once in a fast-moving environment. Success in this role also depends on the ability to collaborate across functions and adapt quickly to aggressive hiring timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale recruiting efforts to support business growth, new program launches, and workforce ramp needs.
- Work with Operations, Human Resources, and Workforce Planning to understand hiring demand, timelines, and ramp plans.
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for direct labor positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer handling.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines to meet continuing hiring demand and ramp schedules.
- Use job boards, community relationships, hiring events, and referral programs to attract suitable candidates.
- Organize and support job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities to improve candidate volume.
- Monitor and report recruiting progress against hiring plans, including pipeline health, hiring metrics, and risks to readiness.
- Help create a positive candidate experience that supports the employer brand.
- Coordinate with HR and onboarding teams to support new hire orientation and onboarding scheduling.
- Keep candidate records and recruiting activity accurate within ATS and HR systems.
- Support compliance with internal hiring rules, recruiting procedures, and employment laws.
- Join workforce readiness discussions and provide hiring updates to leadership.
- Look for ways to improve recruiting speed, candidate flow, and overall hiring effectiveness.
