Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of data and task flows across operational teams.
  • Keep end users, team leads, and DataOps leadership updated on task progress, blockers, and issue resolution.
  • Review, investigate, and troubleshoot insurance claims, eligibility data, and import/export file mappings.
  • Work through enrollment and enrollment-change issues in EDI files, collaborating with engineering teams when needed.
  • Help coordinate EDI testing, rollout activities, and system upgrades.
  • Diagnose and document operational problems, including file transfer failures and SFTP connectivity issues.
  • Check data files and reports against business specifications to confirm accuracy and surface gaps.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in data workflows, supporting documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead or DataOps Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of background in systems analysis, data analysis, and/or process improvement.

  • An associate degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and problem-solving capability.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools at an intermediate to advanced level, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exposure to flat-file formats such as CSV and pipe-delimited files.
  • Hands-on experience with analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to interpret requirements, examine data, and present insights that inform business decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred familiarity with ANSI 5010 transaction sets, including 837, 835, 834, and 270/271.
