Job description
About the Role
This position is for experienced quantitative professionals who can help improve AI systems by evaluating their output and contributing high-quality training input. You will work with advanced AI models on tasks such as checking AI-produced quantitative analysis, solving technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how the models reason through data, modeling, and scientific questions.
The work is a strong fit for people from data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other numerically focused fields. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside a full-time job, while others make it their main professional focus.
After signing up, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will become available on the platform.

- The role offers complete schedule flexibility, allowing you to work from your own computer at home.
- Hourly pay starts at USD 50 to USD 100+ on some projects, and certain assignments may include bonus rates.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-based conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and test AI systems, covering areas such as forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models designed for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Prior coding experience is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level, plus excellent written communication skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional credentials are beneficial, such as a Kaggle competition ranking, AWS or GCP ML certifications, or equivalent proven expertise.
Additional Information
This is an independent contractor arrangement. Compensation is processed through PayPal, and PayPal will handle any currency conversion from USD. Applicants will not be asked to pay any fees or send money at any point. Only candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand will be considered.
