About the role
The London EDITION is hiring a Head Waiter or Head Waitress for Berners Tavern, its award-winning restaurant in central London. This is a busy, guest-facing role in a refined hospitality setting where polished service, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential. The restaurant sits within The London EDITION in Fitzrovia and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with 140 covers.
EDITION Hotels blends boutique style, luxury hospitality, and an international brand footprint to create a distinctive guest experience. The environment is designed to feel theatrical, stylish, and service-led, with a focus on personalised attention and memorable dining.
Responsibilities
- Run a section during service, including taking orders, suggesting dishes or drinks, and handling payments.
- Keep pace with a fast-moving service and maintain calm, high-quality delivery throughout.
- Guide and support Chef de Rang and Commis Waiters during shifts.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of menu items, beverages, and allergen information.
- Work closely with management and the kitchen to ensure smooth communication.
- Help deliver an effortless and consistent guest journey from arrival to departure.
