Role overview
This position is based at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel by Tivoli in Doha, Qatar. Minor Hotels is a global hotel owner, operator, and investor with a portfolio of more than 530 properties across 50+ countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America, serving a wide range of traveler needs through brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and TIVOLI.
What the role involves
The Guest Service Agent is expected to deliver professional service with a warm and courteous approach. Core duties include managing reservations, welcoming and checking in guests, providing attentive support throughout the stay, and completing the guest billing and checkout process at departure.
The role also requires responding quickly and effectively to guest questions, special requests, and feedback so that every stay meets the hotel’s service standards and guest expectations.
Qualifications and working expectations
The ideal candidate should have a strong customer-service mindset, with prior exposure to hotel front office operations considered an advantage. Clear communication is essential, and fluency in English is mandatory.
Applicants must be comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Good computer literacy is required, especially with Microsoft Office, and experience using a Property Management System (PMS) will be viewed favorably.
