Role overview
This role is based at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara in Doha, Qatar. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for arriving and staying guests, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and warmly. The position sits within Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with a broad portfolio across more than 50 countries.
Key duties
Your main focus will be to deliver attentive front-office support throughout the guest journey. This includes managing reservations, welcoming guests on arrival, completing registration procedures, and assisting with check-in and check-out formalities. You will also be responsible for handling guest account settlement at departure.
In addition, you will respond quickly and effectively to guest questions, requests, and feedback so that each stay meets the hotel’s service standards and guest expectations.
Qualifications and expectations
The position calls for someone with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and a professional service mindset. Previous exposure to front office operations in a hotel environment is an advantage.
Strong English communication skills are required. You should also be comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Basic computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office, is needed, and experience using property management systems is preferred.
