About the Role
JW Marriott in Doha is looking for a Guest Relations Team Leader to support smooth guest service delivery in a luxury hotel environment. The role focuses on helping guests with information, coordinating with internal teams, and making sure service issues and special requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guests with details about hotel facilities, services, operating hours, nearby attractions, and activities in the area.
- Connect with the right department or team member, such as Bellperson, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, or Security/Loss Prevention, to resolve guest concerns, requests, or complaints.
- Track guest requests and follow up to confirm they have been completed to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Take, log, and pass on messages accurately and clearly.
- Handle special needs and unique guest requests with care and attention.
- Inform the appropriate staff about VIP arrivals so welcome amenities and escort arrangements can be prepared.
Work Standards and Conduct
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Keep uniform and personal presentation neat, clean, and professional.
- Protect confidential information and company property.
- Welcome every guest in line with company standards and respond proactively to service needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, including on telephone calls using proper etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships and support teammates in achieving shared goals.
- Meet quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Contribute ideas, tools, or process improvements that can raise efficiency, quality, safety, productivity, or reduce costs.
- Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods or an entire shift.
- Handle light physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing items up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
This role typically requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior related work experience is required, and supervisory experience is not necessary. No license or certification is needed.
