Overview
Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar is hiring a Guest Relations Officer to help deliver a smooth, welcoming, and memorable stay for every guest. The role sits within Minor Hotels, an international hospitality group with a portfolio of more than 530 properties across 50+ countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.
Role Summary
In this position, you will serve as a visible representative of the hotel and its brand. Your focus will be to stay ahead of guest needs, respond to questions with care, and ensure every concern affecting guest satisfaction is addressed quickly and followed through properly. You will also be expected to think proactively, suggest suitable alternatives when needed, and contribute to an overall delightful guest experience.
Qualifications
- A college qualification in hotel management or a closely related discipline is required.
- Prior exposure to Front Office or Guest Services work is expected.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
- Hands-on experience using Front Office systems is important.
- English fluency, both spoken and written, is required.
