Role Overview

This position is part of the Rooms & Guest Services Operations team at JW Marriott in Doha, Qatar. The role is focused on shaping a welcoming arrival and departure experience so that every guest leaves with a positive, memorable impression.

What You Will Do

The Guest Arrival Expert supports guests throughout their stay journey by handling arrival and departure services, completing operational tasks, responding to guest needs, preparing reports, and sharing useful information about the local area. The role is designed to make routine service interactions feel polished and memorable.

Work Expectations

This is a full-time, non-management role that is carried out onsite. The job requires active movement throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, and walking for long periods. It also involves physical work such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without help and more than 75 pounds with assistance.

Success in this role also depends on maintaining a safe work environment, following company policies and procedures, keeping information confidential, protecting company property, and presenting oneself with professional appearance and communication at all times.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred. No previous work experience is required, and no supervisory background is needed. No license or certification is necessary.
