Key duties
- Follow food safety requirements, standard operating procedures, health and safety rules, and all applicable company policies and programs.
- Place orders, accept incoming stock, and merchandise products according to inventory control procedures when needed.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and support shoppers with their needs.
- Help drive sales by promoting featured items in the store.
- Maintain the back room and sales floor, keeping the area clean, organized, and aligned with company standards.
- Prepare customer orders when required.
- Handle shrink-related tasks within the department as needed.
- Assist in training newer team members.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.

Compensation and conditions
The posted pay range for this position is $17.30 to $19.75 per hour, with final pay influenced by location, experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. The role is full-time and based onsite in North Bay, Ontario, at 4160 Algonquin Sobeys, P1B 4Y8. Travel requirements are listed as 0–10%.
