Role Overview
Fitness Blender is looking for a part-time contract Graphic/Media Designer to help shape visual content for a large online fitness audience. The work is fully remote and the contractor rate is listed at $25 to $50 per hour. This role supports a brand known for evidence-based fitness, positive body image, and a calm, respectful virtual work culture.
About Fitness Blender
For more than ten years, Fitness Blender has grown into a widely trusted online fitness platform focused on helping people build healthier, happier lives. Its approach avoids trend-driven gimmicks and appearance-first fitness, instead emphasizing research-based functional training, body positivity, and a balanced relationship between physical, mental, and nutritional wellness. The team is also expanding its content with reliable health and fitness expertise from related fields, while maintaining a work environment that is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and still low-stress, supportive, and friendly.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on graphic design experience with creativity, flexibility, and a sense of fun. You should be able to quickly learn a brand’s visual style, solve design challenges in new ways, and still work comfortably within established design systems and business goals.
Role Scope
In this contractor role, you will create engaging visual assets for a global audience, helping present creators and at-home workout content in a way that motivates viewers and supports action. - Edit, clean up, isolate, and correct large sets of images before placing them into brand-approved templates.
- Produce promotional visuals for new content launches and sales initiatives.
- Create marketing graphics for email campaigns, site alerts, and external advertising.
- Take part in weekly content publication preparation.
- As needed, update imagery used on the website and social media platforms.
- Support quality review for image and video assets.
- Apply graphic design and video editing skills suited to web and social media use.
- Contribute creative direction within the areas you help produce.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Design Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong familiarity with Fitness Blender’s brand, mission, content, offerings, and social presence.
- A professional portfolio that shows creative work across web and social media formats.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe design tools and Figma.
- Proven experience leading visual design for a company of comparable size.
- Strong communication and storytelling ability.
- Demonstrated skill in bringing creativity, structure, and efficiency to design projects.
- Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work there.
- Reliable high-speed internet for large file transfers and video/text collaboration.
- Bonus: experience using Final Cut Pro for promotional video and motion graphics.
- Bonus: familiarity with current tools and technologies used for social media imagery and engagement.
- Willingness to grow in graphic design and video editing.
- Ability to understand the competitive landscape and use that insight to build stronger engagement and trust.
