Job description

Company overview

Bonnie Clyde® is an independent eyewear brand that blends heritage manufacturing know-how with modern cultural influence and enduring design. The company works with premium materials such as biodegradable cotton acetate and titanium, and aims to create work that feels fresh while still rooted in timeless style.

Role overview

The Graphic Designer will help shape the brand across digital and physical touchpoints, including the website, email, social media, paid advertising, packaging, retail, events, campaigns, and product releases. The focus of the role is to translate creative direction into polished visual assets that feel consistent, premium, and aligned with the brand.

This position is suited to someone with excellent taste, a strong command of typography and layout, and the ability to deliver high-quality work quickly across many formats. You will join a lean creative team that places a strong emphasis on design excellence and expects a high standard of output.

In addition to production design, the role also involves helping with moodboards, visual references, image selection, campaign direction, and broader creative research. While this is primarily a graphic design position, there is potential to grow into more art-direction responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

  • Create static and motion-based assets for paid campaigns, organic social content, email, the website, retail, events, and product launches.
  • Develop and manage visual systems for newsletters, automated email flows, ad creative, launch materials, and repeat marketing needs.
  • Produce website visuals that keep the e-commerce experience current and aligned with active campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Design event materials and physical brand touchpoints such as flyers, decals, signage, retail displays, and related collateral.
  • Support art direction for photo and video shoots, lifestyle content, product imagery, pop-up concepts, and other creative initiatives.
  • Contribute to the brand identity system through typography, layout, templates, packaging, and repeatable design frameworks.
  • Edit and prepare imagery by color correcting, retouching, cropping, and formatting photos for web, email, social, ads, and print.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and internal stakeholders to review proofs, finalize creative assets, and ensure visual consistency across all outputs.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in graphic design, brand design, or a related creative area such as fashion, beauty, lifestyle, music, or culture.
  • Strong abilities in typography, layout, composition, and image treatment.
  • Well-developed design judgment and a clear sense of what fits the brand.
  • Experience designing for a wide range of outputs, including web, email, social media, ads, packaging, retail, print, and presentations.
  • Comfort working from direction while also contributing concepts and reference material.
  • Strong interest in research and visual culture, including fashion, art, music, design, photography, and trends.
  • Ability to work quickly, receive candid feedback, and iterate without resistance.
  • Highly organized with files, templates, exports, references, and deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a small team where priorities can change and responsibilities may expand beyond core design work.
  • Willingness to handle a mix of solo design tasks, creative reviews, production work, research, meetings, file management, and cross-functional support on a daily basis.
