The firm provides consulting support in areas such as health, environment, and social programs, and works with government bodies, private companies, and nonprofit organizations around the world.
About the role
ICF is looking for a versatile Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join its creative team. The ideal candidate should be confident working across graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and video production, and be able to turn ideas into polished visual content across several formats. In this role, you will partner with the Creative Director and collaborate with content strategists, UX designers, project managers, and campaign leads to create assets for digital, social, print, and video use while staying aligned with brand standards and campaign goals.
This is an opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects, develop creative solutions, and expand the reach of the brand. Some travel to Reston, Virginia, may be needed from time to time for in-person collaboration and project work.
Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling assets in both static and motion formats, such as social media graphics, campaign materials, presentations, digital advertisements, landing pages, motion content, and short-form videos.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional partners including content, UX, and campaign teams to deliver strong creative output.
- Handle several assignments at once while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Convert creative ideas into storyboards, animatics, and concept boards that clearly communicate the vision.
- Produce and edit video content, including footage editing, motion graphics, color adjustment, audio edits, and reformatting for different platforms and screen ratios.
- Help preserve and strengthen brand consistency across campaign assets and activations.
- Share creative concepts and reasoning with internal teams and stakeholders for review and approval.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions to improve campaign performance and creative impact.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in an agency or in-house creative setting focused on graphic design, motion design, and video editing.
- A strong portfolio showing both static and motion design work.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
- Good command of design fundamentals such as typography, layout, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for developing polished, high-quality presentations.
- Experience creating assets for integrated campaigns across print, web, social media, out-of-home, and digital channels.
- Sharp attention to detail and a consistent focus on delivering refined, professional work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and manage multiple priorities.
Benefits
- Annual pay between $67,355 and $114,503.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Paid leave and company holidays.
- Flexible working arrangements, with remote options available.
- Access to professional development and training.
- An inclusive, collaborative workplace that values diversity and innovation.
- A supportive culture that promotes balance and employee well-being.
