About the role
JLL is looking for an entry-level Graphic Designer to join its creative team in Philadelphia. In this position, you will support business development by producing polished visual assets and marketing collateral that help teams communicate ideas clearly and persuasively. The role is suited to someone who can turn concepts into strong design solutions and contribute to JLL’s presence in the commercial real estate market.
You’ll work on a variety of print and digital materials, partner with deal teams, and handle projects from early concept stages through final delivery. The environment is fast-moving, with shifting priorities and a need to stay up to date on design tools, trends, and presentation techniques.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine a wide range of creative materials, including proposals, offering memorandums, covers, flyers, maps, presentations, and both printed and interactive collateral.
- Use professional design principles to create fresh visual solutions that support business development goals.
- Own design projects from concept to completion while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Advise deal teams on design direction and convert spoken or written ideas into effective visual communication.
- Build email marketing pieces and campaign creatives that reflect JLL’s brand guidelines and client needs.
- Keep pace with updates in design software and with trends in marketing and graphic design, both inside and outside real estate.
- Work closely with teammates in a busy setting, showing initiative and anticipating what is needed next.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
- 2–3 years of experience in design work using Adobe Creative Suite, with strong InDesign experience.
- Hands-on skill with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat on a Macintosh system.
- Strong people skills, including tact and diplomacy when dealing with stakeholders.
- Solid verbal, written, listening, and creative communication abilities.
- Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- The ability to work within established brand standards while still delivering high-quality output.
Preferred qualifications
- Relevant design certifications.
- Familiarity with the commercial real estate sector.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel at an intermediate level.
- Exposure to digital marketing platforms.
- Understanding of responsive design concepts.
