Job description
About Sanoptis
Sanoptis operates a Europe-wide network of modern eye clinics and ophthalmology practices with more than 480 locations. The organization aims to improve well-being and quality of life through high-quality eye care. Its decentralized model gives partner locations the freedom to run independently while still benefiting from a broader network, including strong partnerships, shared synergies, and access to modern technology.
Role overview
As a Graphic Designer based in Berlin, you will support several locations and brands within the Sanoptis group and help present them as one consistent, professional visual identity. The position focuses on high-quality design work, especially print, and contributes to shaping how ophthalmology is visually communicated.
What you will do
- Create end-to-end design concepts and visually strengthen the brand identity across Sanoptis and its clinics.
- Produce polished, print-ready communication materials and develop consistent design solutions.
- Handle layout, typesetting, and final artwork with a careful, structured workflow, using Claude Cowork as part of the daily process.
- Work in line with brand guidelines while maintaining both visual precision and strong written accuracy.
- Collaborate proactively and solution-oriented with the marketing and content teams as well as clinic contacts, and drive projects through to final delivery.
- Contribute creative ideas and offer aesthetic guidance to further develop the company’s visual communication, especially through typography, layout, and design.
What we are looking for
- A degree in graphic design, communication design, vocational training in media design, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of professional experience, including practical use of AI in a work setting.
- Strong Adobe InDesign skills, along with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to work accurately at the detail level while also thinking conceptually and in a brand-consistent way.
- Confident communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach when coordinating with team members and internal stakeholders.
- German at C2 level and business-fluent English.
- A strong portfolio is considered an advantage.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation, including a strong salary package and an annual performance-based bonus tied to individual and company goals.
- High independence and room for creativity, supported by flat hierarchies and fast decision-making.
- Opportunities for ongoing learning through training, online academies, workshops, and industry conferences.
- An inclusive workplace with a diverse team, a friendly office culture, and team events.
- Employee discounts on selected products and services through Corporate Benefits.
- A monthly tax-free benefit budget of 50 EUR, flexible to use according to personal needs.
Equal opportunity
Sanoptis values talent, passion, and attitude over any single background. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged, and equal opportunity is a priority.
Application note
Interested candidates are asked to submit a CV together with salary expectations and the earliest possible start date.
