Role Overview
Messagepoint is hiring a meticulous Graphic Designer for a 2-month contract, with the possibility of an extension. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with the Creative Director, this role will help shape how the brand and product are presented to the market. The position supports the creation of polished, brand-aligned marketing materials that explain complex ideas clearly for prospects and customers.
The right person will be comfortable working within established templates and design systems, taking direction that may be communicated verbally, and making independent creative choices that improve consistency and quality. Success in this role depends on collaboration, initiative, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and a strong eye for layout, typography, spacing, and visual clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and polish marketing materials such as website visuals, sales enablement assets, presentations, and product-focused graphics.
- Use Adobe Photoshop for advanced compositing, masking, retouching, and cleanup of UI imagery.
- Create vector illustrations and icons in Adobe Illustrator while staying aligned with brand standards.
- Revise and adapt multi-page documents in Adobe InDesign, including content that has been translated or localized.
- Export optimized, web-ready files with the correct dimensions, file names, and compression.
- Partner with marketing, product, and content teams to support campaigns and product storytelling.
- Keep all deliverables visually consistent while contributing to the ongoing refinement of the brand system.
- Assist with video editing and post-production for webinars, screen recordings, and marketing content.
- Add graphics, captions, and simple motion elements to videos using tools such as After Effects.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Hands-on experience with Photoshop compositing, masking, retouching, and combining interface elements into refined visuals.
- Ability to create clean, scalable vector artwork and conceptual illustrations.
- Background in creating client-facing or marketing collateral, ideally in a SaaS or B2B setting.
- Experience with video editing and post-production, particularly for webinars and screen recordings.
- Solid understanding of the differences between web and print production requirements, including file formats and resolution.
- Comfort working within brand guidelines and structured design systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to juggle several projects and deliver on deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Webflow or a similar content management platform.
- Experience with motion design tools such as After Effects, Lottie, or comparable software.
- Experience handling bilingual or French-language content.
- Understanding of how to present and simplify SaaS UI for marketing use.
Portfolio Requirement
Applicants should be ready to provide samples showing at least the following: retouching and compositing of UI or product screenshots, icon-based or vector illustration work, and multi-page document layout. Prior work in SaaS or technology marketing is highly preferred.
Work Arrangement
This position follows a hybrid setup, with 1 or 2 days in the office and 3 or 4 days working remotely each week.
