Job description
About the Company
Gardner Vaughan Group is a forward-moving property developer with a growing pipeline of projects across South East Queensland. The business is guided by a simple belief: improving lives matters, and that starts with caring about how people live.
Because the marketing team is producing a high volume of design content, the company is looking to add another Graphic Designer to its Nundah head office team.
The Role
In this position, you will help strengthen and refine the company’s visual identity across corporate communications and project marketing activity. Working with the Brand team and Project Marketing Executives, you will turn creative concepts into polished visual materials that capture attention, support campaigns, and leave a strong impression.
You will also work alongside the existing Graphic Designer to develop fresh design approaches and maintain a consistent, high-end brand experience across every customer touchpoint.
Key Duties
- Create visual content for campaigns spanning digital, social media, print, short-form video, and outdoor advertising.
- Develop marketing assets such as brochures, floor plans, EDMs, website banners, and promotional artwork.
- Transform existing design files into engaging video content for both organic and paid social channels.
- Keep all deliverables consistent with GVG’s brand standards, core values, and project-specific marketing direction.
- Prepare final artwork for print and liaise effectively with external partners including printers and media agencies.
- Maintain version control and keep the central design asset library organised and up to date.
- Carry out regular updates to the company website through WordPress.
What We’re Looking For
This role suits someone who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment and can balance multiple deadlines across several projects. You should be highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated by producing strong creative work that contributes positively to a team.
- At least 5 years of experience in a design-focused role, supported by a tertiary qualification in Graphic Design.
- Advanced capability with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, as well as Figma and Canva.
- Strong digital layout skills and the ability to edit or adapt video for social media, which is viewed as a valuable additional strength.
- Working familiarity with WordPress for basic website maintenance.
- Understanding of accessibility principles such as readability, contrast, and appropriate font choices.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a collaborative team that values strong design standards.
- Receive a competitive salary package with broad benefits.
- Access career development opportunities within a stable and growing organisation.
- Join a supportive, values-led workplace where your work has meaningful impact.
Additional Information
The company is managing this recruitment process internally and has not appointed external recruiters. Unsolicited CVs sent without prior agreement will not be accepted.
If you have a growth mindset and enjoy creating visually compelling work that strengthens audience connection, the company would like to hear from you. Questions about the role can be directed to the GVG Talent Team by email.
