Graduate Data Analyst Role - Marsh Graduate Programme 2026

We seek an inquisitive, analytical individual eager to grow within a dynamic environment. This position blends data analysis, platform support, and automation with a strong emphasis on leveraging contemporary tools, including AI, to enhance workflows and outputs.

Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to join a leading team shaping how data influences decision-making. The candidate will engage across the entire data lifecycle — from creation to refinement to global user delivery — with exposure to AI-assisted analytics and platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, upkeep, and support of analytics platforms and dashboards serving UK-based users.
  • Manage data pipelines and structured datasets ensuring output integrity, consistency, and precision.
  • Drive automation efforts to minimize manual tasks and accelerate insight delivery.
  • Utilize AI applications like Microsoft Copilot and Claude daily for drafting, analyzing, and troubleshooting.
  • Translate intricate data into clear, digestible information accessible to non-technical teams.
  • Contribute to platform testing, improvements, and user support to deepen platform knowledge.

Candidate Requirements

  • Recent graduate with at least a 2:1 degree or final-year student on track for the same, showing strong enthusiasm for data and analytics.
  • Keen interest in how AI influences modern business operations.
  • Comfortable facing uncertainty and quick to learn emerging tools and methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator capable of collaborating with colleagues across departments and time zones.
  • A collaborative attitude and readiness to contribute from the outset.

Desirable Attributes

  • A true passion for leveraging AI practically, with prior experimentation or a strong eagerness to explore its business applications.
  • Exposure from day one to a global, live analytics platform.
  • Commitment to high-quality work and development of sound analytical craftsmanship.
  • Real responsibility entrusted early in the role, beyond observational learning.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, Python, SQL, or similar tools considered a plus but not mandatory.
  • An experimental mindset especially oriented towards enhancing workflows through AI.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunities to develop professionally supported by engaging assignments and encouraging leadership.
  • An inclusive, vibrant culture fostering collaboration with talented colleagues to build solutions making an impact.
  • Wide-ranging career paths and comprehensive benefits aimed at promoting employee wellbeing.
