Job Summary
The General Services Officer will lead and coordinate day-to-day support services, covering facilities upkeep, maintenance coordination, hospitality support, transportation arrangements, and contractor oversight. The purpose of the role is to keep service delivery smooth, align operations with company standards, and maintain strong coordination with suppliers and external service partners to support overall operational efficiency.
Required Experience and Education
Applicants should bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in general services, facilities management, administration, or a closely related area. A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a similar discipline is required.
Technical and Core Skills
The role calls for practical knowledge of facilities and maintenance supervision, coordination of hospitality and transportation services, contract administration, vendor management, supplier coordination, and familiarity with service agreements, procurement processes, and operational procedures. Strong working ability in MS Office is also needed.
Mandatory Criteria
Fluency in Arabic, both spoken and written, is essential. The candidate must also have solid communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
The officer will oversee facilities, maintenance, hospitality, and transport-related operations. This includes managing service contracts, ensuring obligations are met, working closely with suppliers, contractors, and service providers, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner. The role also involves conducting inspections, maintaining standards, supporting vendor and procurement activities, preparing reports, keeping service records, and sharing operational updates with management while ensuring compliance with company rules and applicable regulations.
