General Labourer - Manufacturing

Overview

Varsteel Ltd. is hiring a general labourer for its manufacturing operation in Regina, Saskatchewan. This role is based at the work site and must be performed in person.

No previous experience is required because training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, check, and weigh incoming materials and finished products.
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for handling and shipment.
• Support machine operators, assemblers, and other team members as needed.
• Carry out general labour and basic production-related tasks.
• Clean machinery and keep the immediate work area tidy.

• Work is carried out in a fast-moving environment.
• Tasks are repetitive in nature.
• The job involves handling heavy materials.
• This is a physically demanding role.
• Strong attention to detail is important.
• Good hand-eye coordination is required.

Weight Handling

Ability to lift and handle loads of up to 45 kg (100 lbs) is needed.
