About the role
Safety-Kleen in Brampton, Ontario is hiring a General Laborer / Operator to support a safety-first operation. This position focuses on hands-on site work such as container turnaround and cleaning, acting as a flagman for landfill dumping activities, painting, housekeeping, and other general labor tasks across the facility.

Responsibilities
- Follow all health, safety, and work procedure requirements while maintaining a safe approach at all times.
- Run the oil filter crusher equipment.
- Prepare bulk waste for transfer to Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors, or third-party destinations.
- Complete and file all required waste-tracking documentation.
- Use a forklift when needed and perform the daily safety inspection before operation.
- Carry out daily and weekly facility inspections as assigned.
- Work in line with all applicable health and safety standard operating procedures.
- Understand and take responsibility for permit-required compliance standards for the assigned area.
- Keep warehouse, loading, and unloading spaces clean, organized, and well maintained.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience handling hazardous materials is preferred.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- A valid G driver’s licence is required.
- Must be reliable and attentive to detail.
- Strong customer service skills are required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to train the right applicant.
