Job description
Role overview
Mindrift is hiring a skilled Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where you will help shape advanced storytelling workflows inside a hybrid system that combines AI support with human expertise. This is a freelance, part-time remote opportunity suited to creative specialists who are experienced in visual communication, information design, and narrative-led slide design.
You will work alongside Tendem Agents that take care of repetitive work, while you contribute the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and formatting precision needed to create polished, high-impact presentations.
Mindrift’s platform brings specialists into AI-focused projects for leading technology innovators, with the goal of combining real-world expertise and Generative AI capabilities.
What you will do
In this position, your focus will be on structuring stories visually and maintaining strong hierarchy across presentation materials. The work involves transforming dense information, data, and ideas into persuasive slides and one-pagers with a refined and minimal aesthetic. Tools commonly used in this role include PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
- Create premium pitch decks and one-pagers for specific audiences and use cases.
- Turn complex information into clean visual narratives with a strong emphasis on simplicity and hierarchy.
- Improve slide quality through custom typography, tasteful animation, and consistent design execution.
- Maintain a polished visual language that blends corporate professionalism with creative flair.
- Check alignment, pacing, formatting, and brand consistency carefully before final handoff.
Requirements
Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a similar creative field is considered an advantage. Strong command of English at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
You should be highly experienced with presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote for building dynamic, well-animated decks, and comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite or Figma to produce custom graphics and layouts. The role also calls for strong information-design judgment, advanced typography skills, and the ability to create smooth animations suited to high-end deliverables.
Additional expectations include previous work on premium corporate-creative layouts, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to resolve design challenges independently, and a CV that includes a portfolio link showcasing presentation work, pitch decks, and data visualization examples. Applications without a portfolio or relevant case studies will not be considered.
Workload and compensation
The expected workload during active phases is around 10 to 20 hours per week, although this is only an estimate and not a guaranteed number of hours. Pay can reach the equivalent of $50 per hour depending on your level and the pace of your contribution. Compensation may differ from project to project based on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
