Freelance Graphic Designer

About the Role

Mindrift is seeking a flexible and highly capable Graphic Designer to contribute to the Tendem project and support AI-assisted data scraping workflows. In this freelance, part-time remote assignment, you will work alongside Tendem Agents that handle repetitive steps, while you bring creative judgment, subject-matter knowledge, and strong formatting ability to transform rough ideas into refined, professional visuals.

The work is centered on visual communication, layout development, infographic creation, social media design, and producing polished marketing materials. The role is suited to designers who can work independently, adapt quickly, and handle a variety of visual tasks with consistency and care.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, well-structured layouts and modern infographics with strong visual hierarchy so the final output is easy to read and engaging.
• Develop reusable, high-impact templates for multiple social media platforms, along with polished one-pagers.
• Improve everyday design assets through advanced typography, effective grid usage, and thoughtful composition.
• Convert raw concepts and data into professional visual materials tailored to marketing and communication needs.
• Check every deliverable for alignment, color consistency, and layout quality before submission.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, digital design, or visual communications is preferred.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative field is an advantage.
• Strong command of typography, grid systems, and visual composition.
• Ability to present information clearly through infographics and social media assets.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, plus Figma.
• Comfort designing across different formats, from one-pagers to digital templates.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or above is required.
• Fast-moving, adaptable, and detail-focused working style.
• Commitment to producing polished, professional-quality design work.
• Ability to work independently and manage several visual tasks at once.
• A CV in English is required, and it must include a portfolio link with relevant graphic design samples.
• Applications without a portfolio link or without relevant design examples will not be considered.

Additional Information

This is project-based freelance work. Assignments are available only while projects are active, and contributors may be invited to one or more projects depending on their profile and available opportunities.

The expected workload during active periods is around 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on project needs. This is only an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Compensation can reach the equivalent of up to $50 per hour, based on the contributor’s level and pace of work. Payment may differ across projects depending on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
