Job description

Role overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Brand Designer to support the Tendem project and help shape specialized data-scraping workflows inside a hybrid AI and human setup. In this freelance, part-time remote position, you will pair your design judgment and domain knowledge with Tendem Agents that manage repetitive work, bringing the strategic thinking needed to establish a strong and contemporary visual direction.

The work is aimed at creative professionals who have practical experience in developing brand assets, building visual identities, and keeping brand systems consistent across touchpoints.

Mindrift’s platform brings subject-matter specialists together with AI projects led by major technology innovators. The company’s goal is to help Generative AI grow by drawing on practical expertise from around the world.

As the Brand Designer for this Tendem project, your focus will be on creating brand assets, defining the visual identity, and protecting consistency across materials. You will act as the person responsible for the brand’s visual foundation, refreshing the look and making sure every asset feels unified across channels using professional design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build core brand materials from the ground up, such as logos, complete identity systems, and well-structured colour palettes.
  • Create the required versions of each brand element, keep them organized, and deliver them in a usable format.
  • Protect brand consistency across all internal and external assets, including pitch decks and social media packs.
  • Develop scalable visual frameworks that can stand the test of time and reflect current design standards.
  • Check that the design quality holds up across platforms and that the brand looks correct in both digital and print formats.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you bring at least 2 years of experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communication.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a similar creative field is considered an advantage.
  • Strong ability to create brand identity assets from scratch, including flexible logos, clear colour systems, and typography structures.
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, along with Figma for managing design assets.
  • Ability to adapt a brand consistently across multiple formats, from social media kits and pitch decks to printed collateral.
  • Skill in building brand guidelines, style guides, and organized asset libraries for broader team use.
  • English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
  • You should have a strategic, detail-focused approach with a long-term view of brand value.
  • You must be committed to brand consistency and able to act as a strong guardian of the visual system.
  • A self-driven working style with the ability to solve problems independently and deliver polished assets is important.
  • A portfolio showing branding work such as logos, identity systems, and guidelines must be included in the CV.
