Job description
Role overview
Firefly is hiring a founding Channel & Partnerships leader to create its partner ecosystem from scratch as the company emerges from stealth with proven customer traction. The position is based in New York City and requires working from the office.
Firefly is developing a next-generation physical AI platform focused on safety. The company aims to replace fragmented legacy systems used across schools, hospitals, hotels, workplaces, and public venues with a unified AI-first solution that helps organizations understand what is happening in their environments, coordinate action, and respond quickly when it matters most. Its approach combines intelligent software with thoughtfully designed hardware to deliver a modern experience in a large, mission-critical market.
In under two years, Firefly has expanded from an early concept to deployments across boutique hotels and school systems serving 30,000 students, while raising more than $27 million from prominent investors. The team includes experienced leaders from Apple and Verkada, and the culture emphasizes craft, speed, and building technology with real-world impact.
What the role owns
This is a high-impact position at the center of Firefly’s go-to-market strategy. The person in this seat will define which partners the company prioritizes, how those relationships are enabled and supported, the commercial model behind them, and how channel programs become a steady source of pipeline.
The initial focus is on security integrators, with rapid expansion into MSPs, systems integrators, architecture firms, and other technology partners. The role is highly relationship-driven and requires serving as the public-facing representative of Firefly inside the channel ecosystem.
Partner strategy and operating model
Firefly is looking for a partner leader who can identify forward-thinking collaborators with strong customer relationships and a desire to adopt and deploy new technology quickly. The company wants to work with partners who are willing to embrace a fresh way of selling, deploying, and earning alongside Firefly.
The role spans strategy and execution across pre-sales, deployment, and customer success, while also staying close to live deals. The successful candidate will build the systems, programs, and relationships that do not yet exist and help establish channel as a durable growth engine.
Candidate profile
The ideal hire brings a strong record of building partner and channel programs from the ground up, preferably within a top-tier technology organization. They should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, moving quickly, and influencing a market with an evangelist mindset rather than simply introducing another product.
Firefly values high standards, careful execution, intellectual honesty, persistence, low ego, and a team-first mindset. The company seeks people who care deeply about quality, are willing to refine their work repeatedly, and are energized by owning meaningful outcomes in a high-stakes environment.
Location and work arrangement
This is an in-office role based in New York City.
Compensation
The on-target earnings for this full-time role are between $160,000 and $220,000, plus equity and benefits. Final compensation will depend on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
How to apply
Applications are handled through Ashby, and candidates are also asked to send a short note by email to the hiring contact at Firefly.
Equal opportunity
Firefly is committed to equal employment opportunity. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic. Reasonable accommodations are available during the application or interview process upon request.
Additional note
Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every listed qualification, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. Firefly emphasizes that fit is not limited to a perfect checklist.
