Role Overview
This position is responsible for delivering food service support to patients, visitors, and customers while keeping food preparation areas clean, sanitary, and safe. The role includes preparing food and beverages, putting together and delivering patient trays or catering orders, washing dishes, and maintaining work areas each day. It also involves receiving deliveries, storing supplies using FIFO practices, and serving as a point of communication between patients, guests, physicians, hospital staff, and Food and Nutrition Services.
Key Duties
The team member will handle food service tasks, keep service and production areas orderly, and support daily operations within the nutrition services function. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Education and Credentials
A high school diploma or GED is listed as a minimum qualification. Equivalent experience may also be considered. A Food Handler credential and Forklift credential are noted as nonessential, with equivalent experience potentially accepted. High school education is also listed as a preferred qualification.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, non-exempt role based at Bartow Medical Center / BayCare Health System, Food and Nutrition Services-BRMC. The shift is 8 hours on Shift 4, which indicates a variable schedule. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The role is not remote and does not involve on-call duty.
