Role Overview

Canteen North America is looking to fill a full-time Food Service Worker role right away at the Just Born site in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This position focuses on preparing, plating, and serving food while supporting day-to-day food service operations.

Work Location and Schedule

The job is based at Just Born, 1300 Stefko Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Only online applications are accepted. The shift is Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, with additional details to be shared during the interview.

Pay

The wage for this role is $17.00 to $17.50 per hour.

What You Will Do

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Measure ingredients accurately for production needs.
• Move pans, kettles, and trays between stations, ovens, and refrigeration areas while following safety standards.
• Store food in the proper locations and follow wrapping, dating, rotation, and food safety practices.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Set out supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, correct serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently according to service procedures.
• Handle customer issues and pass important information to a supervisor.
• Follow company rules for service standards, inventory, and cash control.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements at all times.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Experience Needed

Prior experience in food service and cash handling is required.
