Delta Pacific Seafoods Ltd is seeking a dedicated Food Processing Sanitation Worker to join our team in Delta, British Columbia. This is a full-time, onsite position within a factory or plant environment. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and efficient operation. While no specific educational degree is required, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors and stairs.
- Regularly empty trash receptacles and other waste containers.
- Conduct routine safety and security checks to ensure a secure work environment.
- Operate effectively with minimal direct supervision.
Work Setting
This position is based in a factory or plant setting.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Capacity to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Physically demanding tasks requiring stamina and strength.
- Must be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
