Role Overview
Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to help deliver a memorable dining experience and consistently high service standards. This position is based at the hotel on Maynooth Road in Dunboyne, County Meath.
About the Property
The hotel is a luxury country estate set across 21 acres of green Meath countryside. The Georgian building currently in use dates back to 1764 and stands on the site of the original castle. In December 2022, the property was acquired by Thomas Röggla and became part of the TMR Hotel Collection, alongside Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley, and Aghadoe Heights.
As part of the TMR Collection and under Windward Management, the hotel offers strong scope for career development and advancement within hospitality.
What the Role Involves
- Uphold hotel standards at all times and help ensure service remains consistently high.
- Create an excellent guest experience and support guest satisfaction throughout service.
- Work closely with F&B department managers to maintain operational standards.
- Coach, support, and develop team members through training and guidance.
- Maintain a visible management presence during service periods.
- Lead the food and beverage team effectively during service.
Candidate Profile
- A positive outlook and strong communication abilities.
- At least 2 years of experience in a busy hotel environment, specifically within an F&B setting.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling busy service periods efficiently and calmly.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, enthusiastic, and motivated.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
