The Rine is looking for an experienced, energetic Food & Beverage Supervisor to become part of a welcoming and fast-moving team. This opportunity suits a hospitality professional who enjoys being actively involved in daily operations and thrives in a busy service setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the bar’s everyday operations to ensure food and beverage service runs efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership so the team has the right staffing, tools, and equipment available.
  • Assist the Bar Manager in managing operating costs, including labour, stock usage, and other department expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and support upselling efforts.
  • Help strengthen the bar’s reputation both within the business and in the wider community.
  • Make sure cleaning routines are put in place, followed consistently, and reviewed regularly.
  • Support monthly stock counts and look into any variances or shortages.
  • Ensure correct procedures are followed at opening and closing time.
  • Check billing accuracy and confirm that all payments and charges are recorded properly.
  • Maintain strong standards in service quality, presentation, and uniform compliance.
  • Guide, train, and support both new starters and current team members.
  • Help run function bar service, including preparation and smooth delivery on the day.

Working pattern

  • The role follows a Monday to Sunday rota, with 5 days worked across 7.
  • Flexible shift availability is necessary because of the nature of the business.

About you

  • You should have prior supervisory experience in a bar or wider hospitality environment.
  • Strong planning skills and a sharp eye for detail are essential.
  • You must be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • The role requires someone who can stay effective and organised when under pressure.
  • A friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude is important.
  • You should be a proactive team player who is comfortable taking initiative and working hands-on.

What’s on offer

  • A competitive salary package.
  • Complimentary access to the leisure centre.
  • Pension contributions available after 6 months.
  • Sick pay entitlement.
  • Access to a wellness programme.
  • Regular training and development opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
