Role overview
The Rine is looking for an experienced, energetic Food & Beverage Supervisor to become part of a welcoming and fast-moving team. This opportunity suits a hospitality professional who enjoys being actively involved in daily operations and thrives in a busy service setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the bar’s everyday operations to ensure food and beverage service runs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with senior leadership so the team has the right staffing, tools, and equipment available.
- Assist the Bar Manager in managing operating costs, including labour, stock usage, and other department expenses.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and support upselling efforts.
- Help strengthen the bar’s reputation both within the business and in the wider community.
- Make sure cleaning routines are put in place, followed consistently, and reviewed regularly.
- Support monthly stock counts and look into any variances or shortages.
- Ensure correct procedures are followed at opening and closing time.
- Check billing accuracy and confirm that all payments and charges are recorded properly.
- Maintain strong standards in service quality, presentation, and uniform compliance.
- Guide, train, and support both new starters and current team members.
- Help run function bar service, including preparation and smooth delivery on the day.
Working pattern
- The role follows a Monday to Sunday rota, with 5 days worked across 7.
- Flexible shift availability is necessary because of the nature of the business.
About you
- You should have prior supervisory experience in a bar or wider hospitality environment.
- Strong planning skills and a sharp eye for detail are essential.
- You must be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- The role requires someone who can stay effective and organised when under pressure.
- A friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude is important.
- You should be a proactive team player who is comfortable taking initiative and working hands-on.
