About The Heritage

Role Overview
This is an opportunity for two experienced Food and Beverage Assistants to become part of the team. The role requires full-time flexibility and the ability to work early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays throughout the year.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests warmly, using eye contact and a friendly greeting when appropriate.
- Keep your service area neat, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Prepare the station before service, including table setup, stocking supplies, and making tea or coffee.
- Clear, polish, and store crockery, cutlery, and glassware properly to help prevent damage and loss while maintaining quality standards.
- Take guest orders accurately and support sales by suggesting suitable products where appropriate.
- Deliver service in a courteous, efficient, and professional way.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness standards in the bar and restaurant.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently to support guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wines, spirits, and menu items.
- Manage guest complaints discreetly and involve management when necessary.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should bring a professional, approachable manner and a strong focus on customer care. Previous experience in a busy hospitality setting is preferred, ideally around one year, although full training will be provided. The role also requires someone who works well in a team, can juggle multiple tasks, and pays close attention to detail.
Working Pattern
Successful candidates must be available for full-time hours year-round and be flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
