Job description
Role Overview
This position focuses on accounting and compliance activities linked to mining operations, with responsibility for reporting, statutory matters, and support for operational control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle indirect tax assessments for the pre-GST period, including VAT assessments and refund processing for tax payments.
- Support compliance management and prepare MIS and management reports.
- Oversee insurance coverage for machinery, materials, and manpower, along with claim settlement activities.
- Contribute to SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) initiatives and sustainability-related efforts.
- Manage vendor and supplier clearing activities.
- Prepare management information statements and overall MIS for mines.
- Carry out liability clearing work.
- Support system management and help implement required systems through continuous improvement efforts in mine working conditions and quality standards.
