Role overview

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Financial Planner / Wealth Advisor / Relationship Manager to become part of a growing team in Australia. This position is suited to someone who enjoys client engagement, relationship building, and helping people and businesses make well-informed financial decisions. The role involves delivering tailored financial guidance, maintaining strong client partnerships, and supporting overall business development.

What you will do

  • Develop trust-based relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Learn each client’s financial objectives and recommend solutions aligned to their needs.
  • Review financial situations and spot ways to strengthen clients’ financial outcomes.
  • Explain financial services and products in a professional, easy-to-understand way.
  • Track client portfolios and stay in regular contact to support satisfaction and retention.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and relationship-driven outreach.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide a smooth and consistent client journey.
  • Keep client data accurate and ensure CRM records are updated on an ongoing basis.
  • Follow company procedures and regulatory standards in all client dealings.
  • Create reports, proposals, and client-facing presentations when required.
  • Keep up with market changes, product updates, and broader industry developments.
  • Provide high-quality support that encourages long-term client loyalty.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in financial planning, wealth management, and relationship-based client service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish trust and manage long-term professional relationships.
  • Client-first mindset with a strong focus on service excellence.
  • Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Comfort with CRM tools and Microsoft Office; this would be considered beneficial.
  • Foundational knowledge of financial products, investments, or personal finance is advantageous.
