Overview
This opportunity is for a Financial Operations Analyst in Ireland. The role supports a busy global finance function and covers day-to-day operational work across payables, receivables, billing, reconciliations, and reporting. You will help keep financial records accurate, support efficient workflows, and work closely with account managers, legal, and other teams to interpret customer agreements and make sure finance actions are carried out correctly. The position is highly collaborative and offers exposure to international finance operations, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full financial operations cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer account reconciliations, while ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Generate and send monthly customer invoices in line with contract terms and internal compliance requirements.
- Assist with vendor invoice handling, purchase order coordination, and approval tracking to keep operations running smoothly.
- Review financial information such as AR/AP aging, cost patterns, and inventory changes to help support business decisions.
- Prepare occasional financial reports and support data uploads, reconciliations, and system maintenance tasks as needed.
- Work with internal stakeholders to onboard vendors and strengthen finance processes, tools, and overall efficiency.
- Handle finance-related questions from internal and external contacts with accuracy, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 1 year in accounts payable and accounts receivable work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial operations practices.
- Comfort using Excel, Google Sheets, and other Google Workspace applications.
- Prior experience with Xero or a comparable accounting system.
- Strong accuracy, organization, and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with a proactive and professional style.
- Ability to spot process improvements and contribute effectively in a team-based environment.
