Role Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you will apply your analytical and reporting expertise to forecasting, modeling, budgeting, and strategic finance initiatives that support pharmacy operations. This is a remote position reporting to the Associate Director of Finance.
Schedule and Compensation
The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation starts at $80,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial and operational information to spot patterns, key performance drivers, differences versus plan, and opportunities to improve results.
- Prepare monthly business review materials such as P&L summaries, dashboards, variance explanations, and executive-level insights.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning by validating results and suggesting corrective actions where needed.
- Create and improve financial models and support automated reporting using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and data structures that support consistent and accurate reporting across the business.
- Work with Sales, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Pharmacy teams on pricing, margin evaluation, vendor programs, and profitability analysis.
- Drive process enhancements that improve efficiency, automate repetitive work, and strengthen data integrity.
- Support customer performance reporting, financial tracking, inventory reconciliation, and other assigned projects.
- Follow company conduct and compliance expectations, and escalate any suspected federal or state law violations to the appropriate internal contact.
- Take on additional duties as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related equivalent field, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in finance or business analysis.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage and organize large datasets.
- Preferred familiarity with tools and data environments such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite, claims or ERP data, and Python.

- Strong communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
