  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting with a strong focus on control and compliance.
  • Own transition activities, reporting packs, and operational reconciliation work.
  • Improve process speed and accuracy through automation and continuous enhancement.
  • Compare existing practices with industry benchmarks and drive improvements in accounting operations.
  • Ensure accounting work follows internal policies, SOX requirements, and audit expectations across regions.
  • Review large, complex datasets to identify insights that support business decisions.
  • Create dashboards and metrics to track the quality and health of finance processes and controls.
  • Identify workflow improvements and simplify processes for internal customers.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, variance reviews, and performance reporting.
  • Document policies, procedures, and internal control requirements in detail.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special assignments as needed.
  • Serve as a bridge between global and regional finance teams and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understand stakeholder needs, meet commitments, and provide reliable service to business partners.
  • Work effectively with distributed teams across time zones and help align shared objectives.
  • Support hiring and training activities within the team and encourage best practices and learning.
  • Use systems and tools effectively to build scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience handling complex accounting operations in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Background in financial reporting, SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.
  • Excellent analytical ability with experience working on large datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • Commitment to process excellence, innovation, and high-quality output.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and global locations.
  • Proactive, hands-on ownership mindset with strong accountability.
  • At least 6 years of experience applying financial KPIs in analysis.
  • At least 6 years of experience building financial and operational reports or datasets that support business decisions.
  • At least 6 years of participation in continuous improvement work that strengthens controllership and delivers measurable outcomes.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in finance analysis, tax, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
  • CA, ICWA, or MBA qualification with 6 or more years of post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end closing, sub-ledgers, accounting principles, balance sheet reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented work style.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Preferred: ability to detect incomplete or inaccurate data, identify root causes, and build escalation plans.
  • Preferred: experience creating financial models, analyses, and recommendations that generate business impact such as savings, operational improvements, or customer benefit.
  • Preferred: MBA or CPA.
  • Preferred: knowledge of SQL and ETL.
