About the Role

The company is hiring a Director of Finance to lead the finance function as the business grows. In this role, you will act as the financial steward of the organisation, overseeing planning, controllership, treasury, and the systems and discipline needed for a fast-scaling precious metals business to operate with confidence. This position suits a commercially minded finance leader who can combine accuracy with speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Oversee controllership activities, statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance in line with Singapore regulatory obligations.
• Handle treasury operations, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships, including trade and inventory financing.
• Work closely with the Metal Operations team on commodity exposure, hedging decisions, and inventory accounting for precious metals.
• Design, strengthen, and expand finance systems, controls, and processes suitable for a rapidly growing organisation.
• Support the CEO and leadership team with commercial decisions related to pricing, margins, and capital allocation.
• Build, coach, and develop a strong and capable finance team.

Candidate Profile

• More than 12 years of progressive experience in finance, with a background from a Big 4 or other top-tier audit firm preferred.
• Professionally qualified accountant such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent credential.
• Leadership experience in commodities, precious metals, trading, retail, or regulated financial services is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Exposure to treasury management, hedging, and inventory financing will be an added advantage.
• Strong commercial thinking and the ability to convert financial data into clear business recommendations.
