Role overview
This opportunity is with a large, multifaceted healthcare organisation seeking a commercially oriented Finance Business Partner. The position is focused on working alongside senior leaders to strengthen financial performance and contribute to strategic decisions across a varied portfolio.
You will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and be relied upon as a credible adviser to operational teams. The role combines financial insight, analytical support, and practical guidance aimed at improving business outcomes.
Core responsibilities
- Own and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning activities.
- Produce detailed performance reports and turn the findings into practical recommendations.
- Create financial models and support business cases for new projects or initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to understand results, spot trends, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Assist with compliance reporting, audit-related work, and risk management tasks.

Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is a commercially aware finance professional with solid experience in business partnering within a complex setting. You should be confident in analysis, stakeholder engagement, and using financial insight to influence decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in a Finance Business Partner position.
- Strong analytical capability, including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Ability to simplify complex financial information into clear, usable insights.
- Excellent skills in building relationships, engaging stakeholders, and influencing outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance review.
- A relevant degree along with CA/CPA qualifications, or an equivalent credential.
- Strong systems proficiency, including advanced Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools would be an advantage.
